We are happy to present the new “Weekly Astro Boy Magazine”, to provide readers with the opportunity of becoming familiar with the manga works of Osamu Tezuka. The Weekly Magazine will be presented through a new and unique subscription system, permitting you to subscribe to our manga any time, anywhere. And it’s very simple to use. Through easily accessed comic series, our Weekly Magazine will introduce some of Tezuka’s masterpieces; works well-loved by manga fans all over the world.

Social situations have changed a lot since these works were written and some expressions incorporated in the works, which were accepted at the time, may seem awkward today. However, what underlies Osamu Tezuka’s works is his strong love of humanity; Tezuka was a man who believed that all animosity and antagonism are evil. Now, as we distribute and renew his works, it is our intention to present the original materials faithfully, as we have done with his many translated books.

Osamu Tezuka’s works are a valued cultural heritage of Japan, and our mission is to preserve, as well as to pass on, these works to future generations, and to faithfully deliver his message to readers everywhere.
